Big Island Hawaii art photo - St. Peter's photo art

BIG ISLAND HAWAII ST. PETERS CHURCH photo art picture - Big Island Hawaii Photo Gallery - St.Peter's Catholic Church closeup picture photo art gallery. This Big Island Hawaii photo shows the tiny building on Ali'i Drive on the south end of Kailua-Kona, known locally as 'The Little Blue Church' in it's picturesque location on the northern edge of Kahalu'u Bay, surrounded by lush vegatation, ferns, flowers, and Coconut Palm Trees. This Big Island Hawaii photo of St. Peter's Catholic Church, which was built in 1889, was taken towards the end of the day where the warm golden glow of the sun colors the beautiful surroundings. The doors never close at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Inside it has less than a dozen simple small pews and a small alter. The artistic etched glass window at the back, which looks out over the Pacific Ocean and Kahalu'u Bay, features an image of St. Peter by the sea (seen in Gallery#4 on this website). It is probably one of the most photographed structures on the Islands, and justifyably so with it's quaint charm and beautiful surroundings. Weddings often take place on weekends for all denominations and beautiful sunsets can be seen through etched glass. This St. Peter's Church photograph captures the simple lush beauty of The Big Island of Hawaii on the leeward side of the Island. There is another view of it in my Gallery #3.
