The Ford automobile factories were retooled for the United States War II effort and produced the B-24 E BOMBER shown in this rare and historic WILLOW RUN BOMBER PLANT in 1942. This is a wonderful wide angle WILLOW RUN B-24 BOMBER PLANT photo picture print for sale showing the incredible rows of this gigantic manufacturing facility. By the end of the War Edsel Ford's promise to build one of the gigantic bombers an hour had come to fruition. The WILLOW RUN BOMB PLANT produced 8,600 of the B-24 Bomber by Wars end---an amazing feat captured in this historical photograph.
