West Maui Mountains - Hawaii picture photo
Photo #160 (Use this photo number when ordering)
by Jan Kaulins
WEST MAUI MOUNTAINS - HAWAII Art Gallery aerial photo - Maui Hawaii photography picture photo art print: This Fine-Art aerial photo of the West Maui Mountains is a wonderful aerial picture of the cloud covered volcanic mountain peaks and the lush green Iao Valley below, photographed by nationally recognized photographer Jan Kaulins. Sticking through the clouds at the center of the picture photo is the peak named Iao Needle. The Iao Valley usually gets a few hundred inches of rain each year, so that the sides of the mountains often are covered with long slender waterfalls heading for the valley below. This aerial picture photograph of the West Maui Mountains was taken from above the clouds on a beautiful Hawaiian morning--the clouds seem to go on forever. The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals. |
