This Pearl Harbor picture is a photograph that shows part of WWII battleship The USS Arizona hull that is visible beneath the water. The USS Arizona, along with the 1177 brave American soldiers who perished on it on December 7, 1941, lies at the bottom of Pearl Harbor. Above this historic battleship is built the USS Arizona Memorial in honor of the men and women who lost their lives there during a surprise torpedo and aerial attack by the Japanese, on a day that will live in infamy.
