LUCKY DOGS photo picture print photography for sale. LUCKY DOGS NEW ORLEANS picture photograph art prints photo for sale. New Orleans LUCKY DOGS French Quarter art picture photo prints photography for sale. New Orleans Photo Art Gallery photograph art picture prints for sale: This color photograph of the New Orleans French Quarter Lucky Dogs hot-dog wagon was made from an original black and white photograph that was hand colored by nationally recognized artist and photographer Jan Kaulins. A Lucky Dog hot-dog wagon, similar to the one seen in this New Orleans French Quarter picture photograph, features prominently in the life of Ignatius J. Reilly, the lead comic character in the classic Pulitzer Prize winning novel, "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. These Lucky Dogs wagons can be seen all over New Orleans, and in particular The French Quarter, and often end up being the 'dogs of choice' for late night Bourbon Street revelers. This hand-colored Lucky Dogs photo is a picture of a local City of New Orleans icon - The Lucky Dog hot dog wagon.

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
