Oahu Hawaii - Diamond Head crater aerial photo

This is a wonderful aerial Oahu Hawaii picture photo taken on a sun filled hazy Pacific afternoon. This Oahu Hawaii aerial photo captures the beauty of the Southeastern end of the Island, with world famous extinct volcano Diamond Head crater in the foreground on the right, the beautiful Ko'olau Mountain Range of Oahu in the background, and the edge of downtown Honolulu's skyscrapers at the left side of the photo. 'Diamond Head' is the nickname given to the crater in 1825 by British sailors who mistook worthless calcite crystals found on its slopes for diamonds! The beautiful aqua blue green Pacific Ocean washes up over the coral and lava on Diamond Head and Walalea Beach. This aerial Oahu birds eye view photo captures the beauty as seen from above.
