THE BIG ISLAND HAWAII BAMBOO picture photo art - This photo is of a colorful stalk of the type of Bamboo that grows readily on The Big Island of Hawaii. It is found on the leeward (West side) of The Big Island as well as in the windward (East side) rainy Tropical Rain Forest area. This artistic photo is of a colorful mature Bamboo stalk surrounded by smaller Bamboo stalks and tropical vegatation. The rich blue sky in the Big Island Hawaii photo makes a nice contrast to the rich colors of the Bamboo. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing and most verisitle of all plants that grow in the world, being used for building everything from houses to birdcages.
