In this aerial photograph we see the Pacific Ocean waves lashing the the lava rock shores of The Big Island of Hawaii at Ka Lae, South Point. This is the southernmost point in the United States! The lava flows shown here in this Big Island Hawaii aerial picture photo have worked their way down the long gradual slopes of 13,677 foot tall Mauna Loa Volcano to the waiting Pacific Ocean below, forming some of the newest land on this planet!
