Big Island Hawaii photo art - Hamakua Waterfall
by Jan Kaulins
BIG ISLAND HAWAII - HAMAKUA WATERFALL aerial picture photo - aerial Big Island Hawaii Hamakua Coast Waterfall photo picture - This aerial Big Island Hawaii photo of a beautiful waterfall was taken through the mist near the Hamakua Coast on the Eastern side of the Island, or the windward rainy side, of The Big Island of Hawaii. In the visually unique and dramatic Big Island interior, steep valleys and waterfalls, accessible only be helicopter, are seen with the rain clouds hovering over the tops of the lava formed mountain peaks. A long ribbon of water from the waterfall makes its way to the valley floor and eventually winds its way to the Pacific Ocean. Flying along near the Hamakua Coast, north of Hilo, you will find many such beautiful sites. (THE BIG ISLAND HAWAII PHOTO ART GALLERY)
