SUPERBOWL XL REN CEN TOWER photo picture art
SUPERBOWL XL REN CEN TOWER photo picture art
by Jan Kaulins

SUPERBOWL XL REN CEN Detroit photo picture art print. This 2006 Detroit SuperBowl XL color photo was made from an original black and white photo that was photographed and hand-colored by Jan Kaulins. It is a unique, and now historic, telephoto view of the giant size Detroit SuperBowl XL logo with a blue football behind it, sponsored by Cadillac, that was applied to the top of the tallest skyscraper in Detroit, The GM Renaissance Center Building. This giant SuperBowl XL logo could be seen from all over the city of Detroit and from Ford Field, where the 40th Annual SuperBowl, SuperBowl XL between the NFC Champions The Seattle Seahawks and the AFC Champions The Pittsburg Steelers was played on Feb.5, 2006. This photo is a wonderful momento of a very historic international event that few cities can proudly say that they hosted. This SuperBowl XL logo on the Detroit Renaissance Center photo is a wonderful visual memento of a historic event that took place in Detroit's Ford Field as 90,000,000 viewers in the USA watched. The Motown WinterBlast held the four days prior to SuperBowl Sunday was also a spectacularly successful event showcasing Detroit and put on for the world to see and enjoy. This Detroit SuperBowl XL logo photo on the downtown Detroit Ren Cen is a symbol of a job well done by the host City of one of the most watched and anticipated sports events in the world.

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
