This is an excellent historic color 2006 Detroit Comerica Park World Series picture photo photographed on October 21, 2006 at Comerica Park just prior to the beginning of Game 1 of The Detroit Tigers vs. The St. Louis Cardinals World Series. This 2006 Detroit World Series photo at Comerica Park was made from an original black and white photograph THAT HAS BEEN HAND-COLORED by artist/photographer Jan Kaulins. In this World Series photo the giant size American Flag has just been fully unfurled across the outfield of Detroit Tiger Comerica Park as one of Detroit's longtime local musical icons, Bob Seger, sits at the keyboards in front of home plate and, to a standing ovation, sings his rendition of America The Beautiful to the sold out standing room only crowd who have come to see this historic matchup of The American League Champion Detroit Tigers taking on The National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals! Both teams are lined up on the baselines on either side of home plate. In the foreground of Detroit Comerica Park is seen the giant Old English 'D'. Along the first and third base lines on the field we see the large logo of the 2006 World Series painted on the grass. Also on top of both club houses can be seen the worlds "World Series 2006."
