FLATHEAD HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE photo art picture print for sale - This is a fine portrait of a classic Harley Davidson Flathead twin motorcycle. The baby brother of Harley-Davidson's venerable Big Twin line, the 45 cubic inch side-valve engine may lack the grunt of its larger siblings, but the 25-horsepower middleweight compensates nicely with reliability that would shame a John Deere tractor. This is mainly due to the flathead's extremely simple design, which was first created in 1929 and served well until its demise in '74.

All of my original HAND-COLORED BLACK AND WHITE photo art prints are of vintage Harley Davidson and Indian Motorcycles that are privately owned, many of which I have encounted on my cross country photography travels on my own Harley Davidson motorcycle. Some are taken in locations that I can't recall and didn't note at the time, while others were taken at the big Sturgis South Dakota Bike Week Rallys and the Dayton Beach Florida Bike Week Rallys. I have no affiliation with Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company and my photos are purely my homage and artistic interpretations of privately owned classic American made vintage motorcycles.
