Falstaff Beer Brewery New Orleans photo art picture photography print for sale - This iconic color New Orleans FALSTAFF NEW ORLEANS BEER BREWERY PLANT fine -art artist signed and numbered Limited Edition New Orleans photo print for sale is made from AN ORIGINAL BLACK AND WHITE NEW ORLEANS PHOTO THAT HAS BEEN HAND-COLORED and printed by nationally recognized award winning artist/photographer Mr. Jan Kaulins. Hand-coloring the black and white original photos is a very old tradition in photography, and is rarely seen anymore. None of the work showcased here is done digitally. The artistic hand-coloring of the black and white New Orleans original photos visually ties in nicely with the New Orleans architectural images color photo art theme prints.
The original Fallstaff plant was founded in 1840 by Adam Lemp. It was in St. Louis, MO. and then called the Western Brewing Co. Shortly after Prohibition was repealed in 1933, Falstaff Brewery started in New orleans , having bought out The National Brewery of New Orleans in 1937. Falstaff was the third largest brewer in America by the 1960's with several plants across the country. Because of consolidation and other other factors the New Orleans Falstaff Brewery closed in 1979. This color FALSTAFF BREWERY NEW ORLEANS artist photo art print shows the historic Falstaff tower upon which sat a large colored ball that would change color with the weather. In the foreground is an old weathered wood grocery store.
