This Detroit Photo Gallery historic Detroit Tigers Briggs Stadium photo art print for sale is a wonderful rare image from a historic photo taken in 1937 looking west on old Michigan Avenue at corner or Trumbull. This sepia toned black and white very early Briggs Stadium photograph is a rare picture photo image of the home baseball stadium of The Detroit Tigers from 1912 to 1999.
On the streets can be seen numerous vintage vehicles and on the building across the street from Briggs Stadium is a large advertising sign for Sinclair Gasoline. Above the street is a spiderweb of electric wires from which the now long gone streetcars used to run along the steel rails also seen in this wonderful photograph. This is a wonderful historical old Detroit Tigers Briggs Stadium photo of an early era in old Detroit Tiger Stadium baseball history.
