THE DETROIT FREE PRESS BUILDING photo picture -Detroit Michigan Free Press Building photo picture print art photograph for sale: This Detroit Free Press Building photograph is a color photo made from an original hand-colored black and white photoraph of this Detroit Landmark newspaper building designed by noted architect Albert Kahn. In this historic Detroit Photo Art Gallery Detroit Free Press Building Photo Gallery we see the red neon Detroit "Free Press" sign on the roof, and the exterior which is covered with an Indiana Limestone facade and wonderful carvings. The Detroit Free Press has been "on guard" over the City of Detroit since 1925. Sadly the building outlived its usefulness for this major metropolitan Daily newspaper. In this historic Detroit photo we see a picture of the large red neon "The Free Press" sign which at one time was visible glowing brightly every night over downtown Detroit. In this downtown Detroit photo we see the Detroit Free Press neon sign before it was removed when The Detroit Free Press left the building. The Detroit Free Press continues to publish daily.
