PRESERVATION HALL picture art print photo for sale. Preservation Hall NEW ORLEANS PRESERVATION HALL art photo picture photography prints for sale. New Orleans Photo Art Gallery photograph fine art photo prints for sale: This original Fine Art color picture photo of Preservation Hall in The Historic French Quarter of New Orleans was made from an original black and white photograph that was hand colored by nationally recognized artist and photographer Jan Kaulins. In this New Orleans picture photo of the exterior of Preservation Hall, the world famous New Orleans French Quarter jazz club and home of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, you see a wonderful example of vintage New Orleans architecture with wood shuttered doors and iron rail balconies. The New Orleans Preservation Hall building in this picture photograph was built in 1750 as a private residence. It served as a tavern during the War of 1812. It is one of the oldest surviving buildings in The French Quarter, having survived the big fires of 1788 and 1794.

In this Fine-Art Limited Edition signed and numbered photo of New Orleans Preservation Hall we also see that just above the classic Ironwork door is hung the famous simple trombone case marquee with the letters "PRESERVATION HALL" printed on it. If you want to hear some authentic New Orleans Jazz, and only New Orleans Jazz, this is the best place in New Orleans. This New Orleans Preservation Hall photo captures some of the grit and musical soul of The French Quarter, The Vieux Carre, in the historic City of New Orleans. This New Orleans French Quarter art picture photography of Preservation Hall is a good example of the favorite slogan of New Orleans, "bon ton roulet" - let the good times roll!

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
