Ford Motor Company photo picture - Dearborn MI
by Jan Kaulins
FORD MOTOR COMPANY BUILDING WORLD HEADQUARTERS - DEARBORN DETROIT MICHIGAN - art photograph picture photo print : This photograph of Ford Motor Company World Headquarters Building picture is made from an original black and white hand-colored photo of Ford Motor Company World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, dedicated on Sept. 26, 1956. In 1996 it was re-named Henry Ford II World Center. This photograph is a picture that was taken during the 100th Anniversary celebration year of The Ford Motor Company (FoMoCo), 2003, which began it's history with the selling of a Model A Ford on July 20, 1903, and in 1959 selling it's 50 millionth vehicle. Today, 100 years later, this building stands as a living monument to one of the automotive giants in the world. Ford Motor Company's humble roots began with a visionary man named Henry Ford whose first vehicles were produced in a converted wagon factory on Mack Avenue in Detroit Michigan. Happy Birthday Ford! This Ford Motor Company World Headquarters in Dearborn photograph is historic also because it pictures the short lived 'Ford Motor Company' script logo at the top, which has since been changed. In this Detroit photograph the trees are bare and snow still lingers on the ground.
