DETROIT GOLD CUP RACE 1964 BLUE CHIP U-80 photo picture art print - This historic Detroit Gold Cup Race 1964 photo picture is of the Hydroplane Blue-Chip, driven by one of the most famous and finest racers in the field, 'Fearless' Fred Alter. The 1964 Gold Cup Race took place in The Detroit River and Fred Alter, who had been active in Hydroplane Racing since the 1940's was at the helm of this now vintage craft. Fred Alter has driven mopre different Unlimited huylls than any other driver. This is a very rare previously unpublished photo of Fred Alter in the 1964 Detroit Gold Cup Race. It is an excellent photo of this historic craft and driver. | The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals. |
