In this Detroit Lafayette Coney Island photo we see The Lafayette Coney Island and American Coney Island located side by side in downtown Detroit at the corner of Lafayette and Michigan Ave. The Lafayette Coney Island and the American Coney Island were founded by 'Gust' and William Keros, two Greek brothers, who opened their doors in 1917. The Keros family continues to spread the Detroit Coney Island legacy. Behind the Lafayette Coney Island building, shown in this Detroit picture photo print, is a large painted mural of Madonna, Detroit's own 'Material Girl'. In front of The Detroit Lafayette Coney Island, in this picture photo, is a vintage Cadillac automobile. Detroit Lafayette Coney Island, music and cars--that's The Motor City!
