ALL THINGS MUST PASS - DETROIT BRUSH PARK photo picture art print - Brush Park Historic Lucien Moore House photo art picture photograph print for sale - Detroit photography: This Lucien Moore House Detroit Brush Park photo is a picture of a hand-colored black and white original photograph of Detroit's historic Brush Park neighborhood. This Detroit Brush Park photo is a photograph of one the the many abandoned mansions that were the homes of many of the privileged and successful industrialists during the late 1800's when lumber and cigars were king in Detroit.

This Victorian Gothic house in Brush Park Detroit was built for lumber baron Lucien Moore in 1885. There has been recent talk of renovating the castle-like Lucien Moore House in Detroit Brush Park located at 104 Edmund Place, just off of Woodward Avenue in Downtown Detroit. Since the 1960's the Brush Park area had become one of Detroit's most tragic run down neighborhoods. This is a picture of a monument to Detroit's past. We should note, that of the structures built by man, all things must pass. Recently, however, the Detroit Brush Park area shown in this Lucien Moore House picture photo has been making an astonishing revival, with new townhouses, condos and lofts being rapidly built, and many of the old Detroit historical mansions like this being bought and restored to their former glory.
