Ford Rouge Plant - Detroit picture photo print
by Jan Kaulins
THE FORD RIVER ROUGE PLANT PHOTO - DEARBORN / DETROIT, MICHIGAN - picture photograph art print: This Ford River Rouge Plant photograph is a picture of an original hand-colored black and white photograph of the Dearborn Ford River Rouge Plant Power Plant. During the early 1930's the Ford River Rouge Plant became the worlds largest industrial complex, as well as the most advanced technically and architecturally. This Ford Rouge Power Plant photograph is a picture of a historically unique American and automotive industrial structure. In this River Rouge Plant picture photograph print eight stacks point heavenward awaiting blast from the furnaces below. Several years ago six Ford Rouge Plant workers were killed in a terrible explosion here. The Ford Rouge Plant Power House smoke stacks are now gone and much of this historic building dismantled. The Ford Rouge Plant Power House photo enters the annals of Detroit Ford Motor Company automotive history. (See another hand-colored photo of The Rouge Plant in my Detroit Landmarks Gallery #1.)

| The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals. |
